Hello All,

Apologies for english on the BE forum. I'm a new user to KNX (home user) and i have the following kit:

Gira 2168 IP Router
Gira 2180 Dali Gateway.
ETS 5 Lite

I'm trying to configure the IP router, it gets an IP address from DHCP but every time i hit the 'test' button, it says "interface not found".

I can ping the device and also if i push the programming button, i can see the status change in ETS.
I have also tried directly connecting to the computer and same issue.

I've read that i need to provide a manual IP address, but the IP router is getting an IP so i dont see how that is the issue. How can i troubleshoot this? Any ideas?

Update: i was able to get the IP Interface working. I had to first create a topology in ETS5 and then select TP as the current line. After that, i was able to get the device configured.

However, i can't seem to detect the Dali Gateway 2180.....programming light comes up, KNX light on IP interface is stable....

(There is a very lucrative business idea in fixing KNX documentation that is not written by a droid)
